After putting together a wedding party for her best friend some six years ago, it became clear to Kate that styling and planning events was the path she was destined to follow. And so, her love of organising and creating saw the creation of Events by Kate.
For Kate, the continual challenge of planning and styling is what sees her business thrive. From the beginning she knew it was vital that EBK had a look and feel to reflect the quality and aesthetic the company was going to offer and with the help of Pip Compton of Studio Lipp, magic was made.
EBK prides itself on being personalised and friendly. The EBK family continually strive to create couples’ dream weddings with memories to last them a lifetime and for Kate, it’s the people that make her job so rewarding. “I love the people we meet, the places we visit and the creations we execute! Most of all I love building rapport with our couples and hearing their stories. Marriage means so much to me so I get great enjoyment out of watching others start that journey. It is always very emotional witnessing our couples declare their love for each other.”
